About…

Welcome to…Me! I am probably the shyest person you will ever meet in person; but as a writer I am quite the opposite. (Oh the glorious freedom of rewriting the perfect sentence!) I’ve been debating over starting a site as I wasn’t sure what I could add to the wide world of cyberspace that isn’t already out there. But the days of us writers being the anonymous, mysterious introverts locked away in our rooms with just a pencil and no phone have long passed. Now instead we lurk behind keyboards spending ungodly amounts of hours searching for homes for our works and refreshing the online lit journals we’ve been published in to see if anyone has left comments we will at first shun with distaste while unconsciously taking it to heart when we start our next beloved piece. Aside from self promotion (no really, go read my words and bring forth your critiques and undying admiration!) I hope to build a site I would be happy to bookmark while passing through.

Lana Elizabeth Gabris currently lives in the heart of British Columbia with her floor to ceiling sagging bookshelves, along with her fiancé and their much loved dogs of various sizes. She received an honorable mention from the Writers of the Future (Q4 2016) and has been nominated for The Shirley Jackson Awards.
